As a Team Supervisor, you will play an important role in transforming and driving collections performance and developing a team of 14 Receivables Management Associates. Coach and train the team and implement industry best practices to drive results. Utilizing analysis and observations, recommend strategy and process improvements to enhance and evolve current policies and procedures.

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

  • Manage and lead a team of 14 Receivables Management Associated and take them to the next level of performance.
  • Lead and coach team to handle and resolve internal and external customer issue
  • Analyze and identify trends and provide direction for appropriate enhancements to collection strategies and processes
  • Weekly and Monthly portfolio reviews and reporting
  • Responsible to identify risk at early cycle and implement corrective action
  • Review bad debt write offs and identify trends and implement process improvements to reduce bad debt
  • Understand collections drivers and risk prevention levers, seeing both from the customer and Front-End staff as well as the Product Development standpoint.
  • Work with internal departments such as front in call center and customer service to problem solve and generate efficiencies
  • Identify process gaps and work with internal partners and external customers and improve process.
  • Develop metrics and performance management scorecard to drive and increase performance
  • Train and develop the team to create a high performance culture 
  • Meet Customer Experience and Compliance standards through use of monitoring processes

 

Key Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is preferred
  • 3+ years Collection experience in complex business environment
  • Ability to work independently based on general direction
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Leader with great problem solving skills
  • Ability to work and evolve the business with limited oversight
  • Experience in managing Client relationships
  • Advanced Excel, and Microsoft
  • Ability to identify process gaps, recommend solutions, implement corrective actions in collaboration with internal partners.
  • Track and monitor results and change impact
  • Lead change management and culture change within the Receivables management team
  • Project management experience an asset
