The Account Receivable Administrator performs day to day processing of financial transactions to ensure finances are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner



  • Generate bank statements from bank portals and prepare daily reports;
  • Record and reconcile payments daily as received in the bank;
  • Work closely with the collections to ensure payments are posted accurately and timely;
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies, incorrect application and unapplied cash and determine appropriate application;
  • Ensure payments received are posted in time and accurately;
  • Monitor key performance indicators;
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls;
  • Daily reconciliation of Cash deposits between system and General Ledger;
  • Assist controllership with daily and monthly reconciliation of Journal entries;
  • Participate in month end closing activities and create monthly packages for management;
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all payment activities including creation and updating of excel models and SOPs;
  • Ability to perform other tasks within the Accounts receivable department as necessary


  • Post-Secondary school diploma/degree in business related field of finance/economics
  • Strong Business Acumen and Accounting knowledge, customer service driven and results oriented
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in full cycle cash application in a complex environment
  • Analytical, detail-oriented and organized with strong reconciliation skills
  • Ability to engage key stakeholders in the resolution process for reconciliation difference
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams to articulate issues and next steps
  • Advanced MS Word, Excel (Pivot/Vlookup/Formulas, IF Statements) and Outlook skills
  • Systems savvy; Experience utilizing multiple ERP Systems and Reports
  • Strong time and desk management skills to identify priorities and meet deadlines/ objectives
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Previous experience/exposure with Automation
