Reporting to the Sr, Manager, Compensation and HR Technology, the Compensation Analyst will support the administration of LifeLabs’ compensation programs which enable the business to acquire, develop and retain its people. The Compensation Analyst will support the management of HR data by providing ongoing reporting, supporting the implementation and maintenance of new systems to enable the Company to meet its strategic objectives.

  • Support the administration of compensation programs including job evaluation, LifeLabs’ annual compensation cycle (base and variable pay programs) and the implementation of compensation related policies and programs
  • Participate in third party market surveys related to base pay and variable pay programs and/or compensation policies and practices; provide data analysis in support of the development and maintenance of competitive programs and policies
  • Provide ad-hoc reports and analysis to internal customers and HR; support the ongoing maintenance of the HR Dashboard  
  • Participate in special HR projects as required.


  • 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources.  Experience in a compensation related role would be preferred
  • Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent (HR, Business Admin or related field)
  • Currently pursuing an HR designation (CHRP, CCP)
  • Sound knowledge of compensation and pay equity principles
  • Experience in job evaluation using a point factor system is preferred
  • Experience participating in third party market surveys is an asset
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel skills are a must
  • Strong data analysis, mathematical, interpretation and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skill and communication skills (written and verbal)
