Reporting to the Manager of HR Systems, the HR Systems Analyst will be accountable for the on-going support of all human resources technology systems within Lifelabs. He/she will be the main point of contact for external and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot and maintain HR systems such as Oracle, SuccessFactors, Kronos and Ceridian. In addition the HR Systems Analyst will work with vendors and internal customers on enhancements based on business needs and technology gaps.

 

 

Accountabilities:

 

  • Provide support for internal and external users on Kronos and Ceridian. These include investigating error messages, log-in difficulties, access denials, data issues and interface/process failures to maximize user engagement on systems. Document resolutions for future reference
  • Audit and maintain user access and security on all HR systems to ensure data integrity, security and system stability
  • Monitor support issues for patterns and recommend, develop and deliver on-going training needs
  • Perform system updates and content changes as needed, maintain systems configuration workbooks to ensure on-going support in place
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert for any HR technology projects, which may include implementation and enhancements of existing functionalities, translating requirements into quality and effective solutions. This includes executing assigned project tasks, which could include creating and executing testing for functions/usability, design and developing of training materials and participating in project meetings.

 

Requirements:

 

  • University undergraduate degree – HR, IT or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of experience with HR Systems, SuccessFactors, Kronos and Ceridian specifically in HR Management is an asset
  • Advanced computer skills specifically Microsoft Excel (VLookup, Pivot Tables, etc), Word and Powerpoint
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to independently exercise decision making authority over technical tasks and recommend system functionality to meet business requirements
  • Ability to interact with internal clients to gather and clarify business system requirements, and translate these requirements into an ad-hoc report or a specification documents
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal business communication
  • Team player with well-developed problem solving skills and ability to take ownership of duties
