The Manager, Leader Success will be primarily responsible for providing a high-touch experience for our leader development, career growth and overall experience.  Help to instill our core values of: Agile, Customer-Centered, Caring and Teamwork within our leadership culture.

 

The Manager, Leader Success’s core objective is to be a trusted sage in the leader experience and a trustworthy advisor about leadership to the organization.    

 

Core Opportunities

 

Design:

  • Create a phenomenal Leader onboarding experience by developing, maintaining and updating a high touch program that reduces the learning curve of new leaders with supporting programs such as a formalized buddy program and orientation courses 
  • Use metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of programs available to Leaders and use that data to determine meaningful programs that cultivate a Leader brand that will help to attract and retain leadership 

 

Development:

  • Support a meaningful development plan process for Leaders to help them develop to the next level
  • Lead and support all Leader Assessments to help our leaders develop professionally
  • Build, maintain, and continually advance the leadership development strategy and curriculum, inclusive of in-class learning programs, virtual-led programs, performance support tools to build capabilities in leaders 
  • Drive a culture of collaboration by partnering with applicable functions and departments to ensure a consistent approach to Leader development at LifeLabs 
  • Utilize creative thinking capabilities to design and develop client-specific leadership interventions using innovative development approaches 
  • Provide thought leadership in the areas of talent development programs and/or processes, such as succession planning, development planning, and leadership development programs 
  • Oversee the launch of annual talent processes such as objective setting, performance management, leader development plans (LDP’s), talent reviews and succession planning for Leaders 
  • Work collaboratively with the organization leadership team develop a healthy leadership succession pipeline 

 

Training:

  • Facilitate training with Leadership as required
  • Manage vendor relationships with third-party leadership development suppliers while continually assessing and exploring new opportunities. Determine whether to build or buy content to meet the needs of the business 
  • Evaluate the impact of learning solutions for quality, improvement of performance business impact, and scalability 
  • Partner with the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Culture and Change teams to build on the foundation currently in place as well as lead new ideas 

 

Structure: 

  • Support organizational and departmental restructures to structure the organization for future needs 

 

Minimum Hiring Requirements

  • Post secondary education in a relevant field 
  • A minimum of 6 years developing and implementing successful leadership programs and structures 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Experience designing training, completing Needs Assessments, and advanced ability for facilitation 
  • The ideal candidate must be able to instill confidence and credibility with the senior leadership as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert 

 

Assets
Certifications or designations in the follow areas are a strong asset: 

  • Certified Coach 
  • CHRL, CHRP
  • Organizational Development Designation 
  • Gallup Certified Coach or Master Coach
  • Thomas Assessments facilitator
  • Change Style Indicator facilitator 
  • DiSC facilitator

    
About the team you will be joining:
