Reporting to the Manager, Market Research and Customer Experience within the Business Insights & Customer Experience group at LifeLabs, the Market and Competitive Intelligence Analyst is responsible for analyzing and synthesizing intelligence data to support of the development of multiple business lines. Responsible for secondary market research and market and competitive intelligence, s/he will discover and share information to internal business audiences in order to facilitate appropriate strategic business decisions and actions.

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

  • Research market trends in healthcare to highlight growth opportunities
  • Stay aware of current healthcare innovations
  • Analyze, interpret and develop data-driven insights from integrated information to support business units
  • Conduct competitor analysis across multiple lines of business
  • Assist with market intelligence monitoring program
  • Create communications to stakeholders with market intelligence updates
  • Create compelling presentations that communicate insights for stakeholders
  • Conduct qualitative research including recruiting for interviews and conducting telephone interviews
  • Conduct market sizing modeling to support product development

 

Key Requirements:

 

  • Minimum 1 years of work experience in market research, competitive intelligence, category management, consulting or syndicated data
  • Undergraduate Degree in Life Sciences, Business, Psychology or other appropriate degree.
  • Experience or interest in healthcare
  • Experience with developing and delivering presentations to stakeholders
  • Experience in business modeling and drawing insights from data
  • Understanding of market research preferred
  • Strongly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
