As the Product Manager, Business Development, Platform & Insights you will help drive the product strategy for new products and services related to the Health Information Exchange (HIE) platform, including insights and Data-as-a-Service (DaaS). The Product Manager will work with a cross-functional team to confirm current and future client expectations, inform product design, and set expectations around product support and maintenance.

 

This role will also support the commercial success of the HIE product, including pricing support, proposal support, public outreach, and engagement delivery.

 

This is a full-time permanent role located at 30 International Boulevard, Toronto.

 

Accountabilities

  • Develop the product strategy and manage supporting initiatives to grow Excelleris HIE platform business
  • Work with the Excelleris development team and other cross functional teams to ensure that the customer requirements are fully addressed within the portfolio offering
  • Collaborate with Business Development and Finance to ensure that the market opportunities are well described, support business case development and support the HIE platform business through a robust business planning process
  • Alongside sales and marketing ensure that revenue targets are achieved and that the strategy evolves based on customer feedback
  • Build, manage and track external collaborations and partnerships as required
  • Support market intelligence analysis on emerging business opportunities and technological innovations
  • Support assessments of market potential, customer needs, technology readiness, competitive landscape and strategic alignment
  • Provide leadership, development and coaching to peers
  • Support client project/engagement delivery as required

 

Requirements

 

  • University Degree in Health Informatics, Data Science or equivalent experience  
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in health data and health informatics
  • Experienced in developing and executing market intelligence/data/insights projects in healthcare
  • Experienced with effective stakeholder engagement
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively at all levels of the organisation with strong communication and relationship skills
  • Experience working directly with eHealth and mHealth related organisations, emerging health technology companies, health care providers and patients to develop new products and services is an asset
