Reports to:  Portfolio Manager, ePMO


Purpose of the Role:       

The Project Manager reports to the Portfolio Manager, within the Enterprise Project Management Office, and is responsible for managing projects as assigned by the Portfolio Manager

The Project Manager will lead the planning and execution of multiple projects through LifeLabs’ defined gating framework using LifeLabs’ established project processes and templates


Core Accountabilities:

•Manage the implementation of project deliverables including the management of project integration, scope, time, cost, procurement, quality, communication and resources

•Balance the planning and execution of concurrent cross-disciplinary and/or cross-functional projects in various phases of delivery

•Manage risks, opportunities, changes and conflict resolution within projects

•Ensure sustainability of new product or service implementation, ensure effective project execution, and conduct project post-implementation review with a view to continuous improvement

•Build business cases, define and ensure delivery of project artifacts as required by established processes

•Provide regular reports on project status, open RAID log items Provide subject matter expertise to support areas

•Participate in strategic project governance process for prioritization and reporting

•Provide coaching and mentoring as required. Provide input to performance reviews and report performance related issues

•Support other team members on tool and process adoption as prescribed by the Center of Excellence (CoE)


Minimum Hiring Requirements:

•3+ years’ project management experience

•Excellent facilitation and change management skills

•Demonstrated track-record of handling a concurrent load of up to 3 Projects at a time (small, medium and large scope)

•Ability to oversee a cross-functional project team

•College Diploma/or university degree 

•PMP certification is preferred or equivalent

•Proficiency with a PPM tool
