Purpose of the Role:

 

Enable effective decision-making by the overall business by providing timely data for analysis and suggested improvements for foundational processes to generate insights faster and assist in more nimble strategy execution


Core Accountabilities

 

  • Analyze and interpret data, producing clear and error-free reports for different audiences that clearly and succinctly answer the relevant business questions
  • Produce critical weekly/monthly reports tracking KPIs and summarize key drivers for missed targets
  • Discuss, internalize, and execute analytical strategy in conjunction with non-technical stakeholders, particularly related to exclusion/inclusion criteria
  • Test and verify processes and systems to understand the cause of data issues and develop improved practices to account for front-end data quality issues that can skew results
  • Be a leading contributor in how to automate key business processes to enable operational simplification throughout the organization
  • Concisely summarize and communicate recommendations to various levels of management on analytics & process solutions to improve workflow
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation

 

Requirements 

   

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in analytics/forecasting/project management roles that involved working with cross-divisional customers
  • Undergraduate degree from a business or technology-based program
  • Be a proficient user of Excel 
  • Be proficient in synthesizing forecasts from historical data and valid business assumptions
  • Be proficient in managing small to medium projects that are process and change management focused
  • Be able to interpret stakeholder requests to develop and present analysis options based on resource requirements, time to completion, and criticality of the analysis to the business 
  • Ability to clearly articulate current data and analytical limitations, potential fixes, and the impact of each potential solution to non-technical stakeholders in support of resource allocation and prioritization
  • Appreciate the business objectives of stakeholders throughout the organization and what insights they seek from internally available data
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and drive for results
  • Nice to have skills: Power BI; ability to query databases using SQL
