Reports to: Portfolio Manager, EPMO.Purpose of the Role: Manage small, medium, & large enterprise-wide projects as assigned by the Portfolio Manager. Lead the planning and execution of multiple projects through LifeLabs’ defined gating framework & established project processes and templates. Provide coaching and mentoring to other project resources.Remote work available. 

 

Core Accountabilities:

• Manage the implementation of project deliverables including the management of project integration, scope, time, cost, procurement, quality, communication and resources.

• Balance the planning and execution of concurrent cross-disciplinary and/or cross-functional projects in various phases of delivery.

• Manage risks, opportunities, changes and conflict resolution within projects.

• Ensure sustainability of new product or service implementation, ensure effective project execution, and conduct project post-implementation review with a view to continuous improvement.

• Build business cases, define and ensure delivery of project artifacts, ensure sustainability of new product or service implementation, ensure effective project execution, and conduct project post-implementation review with a view to continuous improvement.

• Provide regular reports on project status, open RAID log items.

• Provide subject matter expertise to other project team members.

• Participate in strategic project governance process for prioritization and reporting.

• Provide coaching and mentoring as required.

• Provide input to performance reviews and report performance related issues.

• Support other team members on tool and process adoption as prescribed by the Center of Excellence (CoE).

 

Minimum Hiring Requirements:

• 7+ years’ project management experience

• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, facilitation, and change management skills 

• Proven track-record of managing 1-3 projects concurrently with a broad range in scope & duration

• Ability to manage cross-functional project teams of 20+ resources

• University degree

• Valid PMP &/or Prince2 certification

• Experience with Smartsheet, Wrike, & Asana is an asset
