Reports to: Senior Manager, Business Applications

 

Purpose of the Role: Acts as the Service Owner and Subject Matter Expert on Robotic Process Automation (RPA) at LifeLabs. Develops automatic strategy, reviews requirements, and supports implementation projects. This role will perform first-level support for RPA Bots and work with support partners for issue resolution. In addition, this role will interact with internal and external contacts to execute tasks related to progress updates, identifying and resolving issues, and supporting testing and implementation.

 

Core Accountabilities

Technical

  • Lead RPA solutions from design to delivery
  • Design solutions that effectively addresses both functional and non-functional requirements
  • Act as Technical Lead for RPA implementation projects and ensures that vendor develops Bots that are highly scalable and available
  • Perform code review during development to ensure compliance with standards and best practices
  • Creates, updates and reviews appropriate design documents, ensures implementation details and source code are sufficiently documented
  • Articulate complex technical solutions to key business stakeholders

Support

  • Provide first-level of support and escalation for all RPA issues
  • Own the RPA service and manager relationships with business users
  • Manage the RPA support along with Vendor
  • Evaluate and monitor robotic systems after installation for maximum efficiency and ensure functionality is optimized
  • Ensure RPA platform is up to date with product releases, certificates, and security patches
  • Work with team and peers to strive for continuous improvement through establishing and driving best practices and processes

Functional

  • Work with the project manager to support the technical aspects of project delivery including planning, estimating, quality, change and risk management
  • Create reports and KPI’s to monitor RPA usage and performance
  • Support the Senior Manager, Business Applications in developing automation strategy and execution
  • Manage multiple concurrent development projects in parallel
  • Build deep relationships with customers and be the trusted advisor for automatic projects

 

Minimum Hiring Requirements and Skills

  • Post-secondary in Computer Science or a related field
  • Ten (10) years’ experience in development 
  • Minimum Five (5) years’ experience in UiPath RPA Platform
  • Experience implementing and supporting RPA solutions at an Enterprise level
  • Exposure to full software development lifecycle, including design, configuration, integration, testing and support
  • Knowledge and experience using Python
  • Ability to present technical details to non-technical audiences
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in a team environment and interacting with multiple stakeholders
