The Marketing Specialist, Corporate Marketing  is responsible for aiding in the end-to-end development for the COVID-19 ‘LivClear’ portfolio, including assisting in the design of research, development of campaign strategy, and execution of the campaign, while driving the management of vendors. They will work with a team of marketing managers to create marketing and promotion plans, and together will be responsible for customer engagement across several channels and initiatives. They will also aid in the development of a unified omni-channel strategy that aims to hit plan, while investigate and testing new channels to communicate with our potential customers (this is likely more heavily digital). They will have to partner with other teams both within marketing and cross-functionally, including finance, to track and assess budget and results. They will have to present results to manager in weekly review and present results of campaigns to key internal stakeholders.

 

Campaign Planning:

  • As COVID-19 evolves, campaigns will be changing continuously. This person will be required to help create campaign plans that fit the social, cultural and scientific landscape surrounding COVID-19, including exploring new marketing channels and tracking the efficacy.
  • This person will aid in the end-to-end development of the COVID-19 product portfolios including research, development, execution and reporting
  • This person will be responsible for creating and managing a meticulous content calendar with launch schedule which includes vendor management, that aligns across all business units and is approved by communications
  • They will be expected to share the calendar on a monthly basis and build it in collaboration with the marketing, product, communications and MedSci teams

 

Copy Writing and Creative Development:

  • Working with the broader marketing team, develop campaign content which would be accessible through a number of difference channels. The principles of derivative asset mapping are essential, meaning that content continuity across multiple spaces needs to occur.
  • Must be comfortable developing content pieces for healthcare provider and B2B audience in addition to D2C. Content responsibilities will include not just campaign ad-copy, but information sheets, sales aids, slide decks etc.

 

Messaging Maintenance and Updating: 

  • Managing version control and the overall refresh of content in accordance with the publication calendar, with both internal teams and vendors.

Uptake and Engagement Reporting: 

  • The incumbent will be responsible for generating reporting on the efficacy of marketing channels (impressions, clickthrough rate, etc.) and generally share back to the team how the portal is performing relative to supporting the business plan by product.


Qualifications:

 

  • University Degree, preferably in Biological Sciences or Communications and or Marketing. Additionally, continuing education on content writing, writing for business, marketing, digital marketing or any professional writing or marketing designations would be beneficial
  • 5 - 8 years of work experience in communications or marketing specifically creating content for a variety of platforms (digital, print, media) and or marketing campaign development (end to end)

 

 

  • Experienced marketer with expertise in digital marketing would be considered an asset
  • Experienced writer for online publications, with samples and or a personal blog
  • Experience drafting professional business documents or product descriptions
  • Agile problem solving and outside of the box thinker are considered an asset
  • Experience building content strategies from the ground up
  • Able to adapt and introduce new technology into business
  • Impeccable communication skills
  • Ability to influence various stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet tight timelines
  • Able to operate with a high degree of organization and able to quickly change gears.
  • Strong project management skills and knowledge of marketing workback schedules
