As the Sustainability Project Lead you will oversee the planning, implementation and tracking of specific short-term projects for the Community Engagement and Environmental Sustainability teams. The Project Lead also ensures that new partnerships, products and/or services are seamlessly launched on time, at the right quality level and cost.


This is a full time permanent role located at 30 International Boulevard Toronto and reports into the National Director of Community & Environmental Sustainability.



  • Manage the implementation of  events, programs or services including the development of project scope, timing, cost, procurement, quality, communications, resources, implementation and risks
  • Build business cases, define and deliver of project plans and resources support program , event or service implementation, ensure effective project execution, and conduct project post-implementation review with a view to continuous improvement 
  • Lead the planning and execution of cross-discipline and/or cross-functional projects
  • Provide subject matter expertise to support areas
  • Provide cross-functional linkages for   events, products and/or services to be launched
  • Interface with strategic project governance process for prioritization and reporting
  • Support local execution of project deliverables and other duties as required



  • Bachelors’ degree (science, sustainability or environment preferred but not required)
  • 3 plus years of Project Management experience
  • Project Management training and PMP certificate is preferred
  • Experience in facilitation and change management
  • Ability to manage cross functional project teams
